Here they are switched on, side by side. That is the only honest way to compare an OLED with a QLED: the spec sheets both sound good and look nothing alike once you see them together.

Before choosing a screen size, measure two things: the distance from the sofa to the wall, and how much light comes into the room. In Jávea the second matters more than almost anywhere — a sea-facing living room at midday flattens an ordinary panel, which goes washed out and full of reflections. Only two things beat that, and both live in the upper ranges: real brightness and a good anti-glare treatment. That is why in a very bright room a QLED or a mini-LED usually wins, and in one you can darken there is nothing like an OLED. Which one you are is settled here in two minutes, with both of them switched on in front of you.
